Is the DGSOP application free?
Yes. The initial DGSOP application has ₹0 application fee.
Does DGSOP guarantee a Netherlands visa?
No. DGSOP does not guarantee a visa, MVV or residence permit.
Does applying guarantee university admission?
No. University admission depends on the relevant institution's admission requirements and decision.
Who handles the student residence permit?
For the relevant university/higher-education study procedure, the recognised educational institution submits the application to the IND.
Do I need financial proof?
Applicable students must meet the Netherlands' financial requirements for study. The amount changes over time.
Can I apply if I don't have IELTS yet?
You may submit an initial profile, but individual universities/programmes may have their own English-language requirements.
Who Can Apply?
DGSOP applications are open to international students interested in exploring higher-education opportunities in the Netherlands, subject to the applicable programme and university requirements.
Basic Eligibility Applicants should generally:

✓ Have completed or be completing the relevant educational qualification
✓ Have a genuine interest in studying in the Netherlands
