STEP 2 

Profile Review We review the information provided in your application, including your educational background, study preferences and basic eligibility information. 

STEP 3

Opportunity Assessment Applicants who meet the applicable criteria may be contacted regarding suitable education opportunities or further assessment. Selection, if used for a particular programme, will follow the published rules of that programme 

STEP 4

University Application Where applicable, students proceed through the relevant university admission process. Admission decisions are made by the respective educational institution 

STEP 5

Immigration Process If admitted to an eligible Dutch programme, the relevant educational institution handles the applicable student residence-permit process according to Dutch immigration rules. 

The IND states that only the educational institution can apply for the university/higher-education student residence permit in the relevant procedure.
